Amarkantak is a popular pilgrim town located in Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh. This town boasts of very rich natural beauty, cultural heritage, customs, and traditions. This place is the meeting point of the Vindhya ranges and the Satpura Ranges, with the Maikal ranges being the base. Popularly also known as Karna Mandir, Amarkantak Temple was built during the reign of the Kalchuris. This temple was constructed by King Karnadeb Mahachandra. • By Road- From Pendra Road, Bilaspur, and Shahdol, visitors can easily get state buses to reach Amarkantak. The town is also well connected by buses to Jabalpur and Rewa, which is situated at a distance of 245 km and 261 Km away respectively.
