Ranjit Sagar Dam

Also famous by the name of Thein Dam, Ranjit Sagar Dam is a prominent tourist attraction in Pathankot. It is a huge earthen dam that stands on the River Ravi that flows near the borders of Jammu & Kashmir. This dam is a part of the hydroelectric project that is located near the city of Pathankot. Ranjit Sagar Dam, due to its geographical location, it has been recorded as the highest earthen dam in the Indian subcontinent. It is an ideal place for spending a day’s itinerary.
