Sangacholing Monastery aka Sanga Choeling Monastery is a renowned Buddhist shrine located in Pelling, Sikkim. The meaning of the name of this monastery is 'The Island of Guhyamantra Teaching.' This monastery is a seventeenth-century shrine that was built by Lama Lhatsun Chempo. All rituals in this monastery are followed according to the Tibetan Buddhist calendar and it is a major religious site for the followers of Buddhism in Pelling.
