Balmuri Falls

Located away from the hustle and bustle of city, Balmuri Falls is an alluring tourist site in Mysore. It is an artificial waterfall that is created due to Krishna Raja Sagar Dam on the River Cauvery. It is not a natural waterfall, but appears to be one due to the overflowing of the check dam. Whenever the water overflows from the dam, a small waterfall is formed at this place.
