Rachi Gudi is a sacred Hindu site that consists of the trikutachala Shiva temple. This temple is located to the west of the ancient temple complex of Aihole and is a popular tourist destination in the majority of the travel itinerary of people visiting Aihole or Bagalkot. The temple majestically stands atop a high plinth which gives it a great height. This temple was constructed in the 11th century and has three cells, each of which faces three different directions. The outer walls of the temple have the images of Nataraja, Ganapathi and Vishnu sculpted with sheer intricacy. There is a portico present in the temple which is placed supported by four pillars and placed on a raised platform. A sculpture of Nandi facing the temple is placed right in the center of the portico.

The best time to visit the Rachi Gudi temple is during the months of October to March. It is also advised to visit this site during the time of Shivaratri or other auspicious days for Lord Shiva to get your wishes fulfilled by the blessings of the Lord.

The Rachi Gudi is connected to all the major areas of the city by road network. Tourists can also hire a private cab or auto to take them on a tour around the temple complex of Aihole.
