Lakshmi Temple

Lakshmi Temple in Puri is a sacred Hindu shrine. As per its name, it enshrines Goddess Lakshmi, the religious figurine in Hinduism and the deity of wealth and good fortune. Her temple is located near the main temple of Jagannath and is constructed in the traditional Hindu style of architecture. It is visited by the devotees on a large scale.

3)    The festivals like Ratha Yatra and Diwali are celebrated here with a great pomp. On the fifth day of Ratha Yatra, the embellished palanquin of Goddess Lakshmi is carried to the shrine of Lord Jagannath for a personal meeting between the two.

4)    On the occasion of Diwali, this entire shrine is decorated beautifully with flowers and lights.
