Tourist Attraction in Puri

Puri is one of the most sacred places for Hindus. Most of the attractions around here are religiously important.


Temples: Shree Jagannath Puri Temple is a part of the Char Dham Yatra. It was built in 11thy century. Tourists can experience the grandeur of Rath Yatra (Chariot Ride) that begins from here in July. Other famous temples here are Sunara Gaurang Temple, Bedi Hanuman Temple, Chakra Tirtha Temple, Mausima Temple and Shree Gundicha Temple.

Beaches: Besides the religious significance, Puri is also famous for its splendid beaches with golden sand. The waters here are ideal for surfing and swimming.
