Raniji Ki Baori, Bundi Overview

Raniji ki Baori or it is also known as Queen's Stepwell, happens to be one of the most popular attractions of the Bundi town. Raniji ki Baori, Bundi is a step-well that was constructed long back in the year 1699 and was commissioned by Rani Nathavati Ji, who happens to be one of the queens of the then ruler named, Rao Raja Anirudh Singh. Raniji ki Baori, Bundi boasts of steps and is 46 meters deep. The boari has a soaring slender entrance and its columns are decorated with tantalizing carvings.

Raniji Ki Baori is located at a distance of 35 Km from Kota Station in Bundi. The nearest airport is the Jaipur Airway, which is at a distance of 206 km from Bundi. It is well connected by road with the other important places in Rajastha. The entry fee is very nominal and extra Rs. 100 needs to be paid if one wishes; to carry a camera in the premises.

The entry ticket of Raniji ki Baori is INR 50 for one, INR 75 for two, for foreign travellers, its INR 350 for two and INR 200 for one. Also, for students is INR 5 (Indian) and INR 20 (foreigner). Moreover, it is an ASI protected and maintained tourist place and once should not be indulged in damaging the area. If done, you might get arrested. Just to let you all know, instead of buying a ticket to see Raniji ki Baori for INR 50 (for one), you can opt for buying a combo ticket of INR 75 where you can visit this, 84 Pillared Cenotaph and Sukh Mahal as well.
