Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha aka BAPS is a renowned name in Rajkot city of Gujarat. It is a socio-spiritual organization and was founded in the early nineteenth century by Shastriji Maharaj. A whole community under the name Swaminarayan Sampradaya was established by Lord Swaminarayan over 200 years ago in Gujarat and was formalized by his spiritual successor, Shastriji Maharaj.
