  As soon as I entered Lake Manyara, I saw many birds - some on the lake's edge, some flying in the sky. Then as we went down into the Ngorongoro Crater, the whole place opened in front of our eyes, it seemed like a small world. Elephants, giraffes, zebras - everyone is walking in their own way.   I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.   I have traveled a lot in my life, but what I saw at the Mara River Crossing in the Serengeti was truly a unique experience. When thousands of new wildebeest were crossing the river together, there were crocodiles nearby - the cruelty and beauty of nature were seen together. It would not have been possible to see this scene from such a close distance without the experience and accurate timing of our guide.   We never imagined that we would have such a diverse experience in just four days. On the first day in Tarangire National Park, the whole family was shocked to see a huge elephant herd. The Baobab tree and the giraffe roaming under it - a postcard scene. The next day at the entrance to Ngorongoro Crater, the guide said, "Keep your eyes open!" - Indeed, in a short time I could see the lion, the buffalo, and even the black rhino resting in one corner. That day was like a dream. The last two days at Serengeti National Park were the highlight of our safari. It was heartwarming to see the vast meadows, the cheetah race, and the lion pride in the distance. Seven Wonders Safaris perfectly arranged the whole trip. ...more

  We went at the right time-the Mara River crossing was underway. The moment when the herd of wildebeests crossed the river, avoiding crocodiles, was like a scene from a documentary!   On this five-day safari, our journey begins from Tarangire National Park, where the sight of a herd of elephants fills our eyes. The guide said, From June to October, thousands of wildebeest and zebra migrate through this area,- and we met the scene. The next destination is Serengeti - the vast wilderness where leopards, lions, and hyenas rule the roost. One afternoon we saw a lion hunting, which was hard to believe with our own eyes. At the end of the trip, I went to Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as I stepped into the crater, I entered a secret world of animals.
