  Our budget camping safari was truly a thrill. On the very first day in Tarangire, we saw the huge elephant herd very closely, which was like a movie scene for us. Going to Lake Manyara is an amazing experience to see a lion sitting on a tree. In Serengeti, the sky was filled with dust from numerous zebras and wildebeest, and it was truly unimaginable to see so many animals in one day inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Our guide was a very knowledgeable and funny man, who explained the behavior of each animal very well. The food at the camp was even better than expected, making our trip even more magical with a sea of stars in the night sky. ...more

  I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.   We went at the right time-the Mara River crossing was underway. The moment when the herd of wildebeests crossed the river, avoiding crocodiles, was like a scene from a documentary! Our guide Elias knew exactly where to go at what time. We were also amazed to see lions sitting in trees in Manyara. Every moment of our seven-day trip was a vivid chapter. ...more

  Although my time was short, the dream of African safari was very old. In this 4-day package, I have made that dream a reality. The Seven Wonders Safaris is a great way to spend each day. The elephants of Tarangire fascinated me. Then we went to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where the biodiversity is incredible. But as soon as I reached Serengeti National Park, I was stunned - the lion is lying down, the cheetah is walking slowly, the sun is setting behind! Each one was a new chapter.   This 5-day trip was a dream come true for us. The very first day we went to Tarangire National Park, where we were surrounded by a herd of elephants! Our guide was very knowledgeable and patient, introducing each animal one by one. Serengeti was like a kingdom of heaven! We are stunned to see the migration of thousands of wildebeest and zebra in front of our eyes. At sunrise, I went on a game drive and watched the cheetah hunt - it's like a dream! Finally, entering the Ngorongoro Crater felt like entering an ancient world. There we saw lions, hippos, and even a rare black rhino.   I was alone, a little worried about such a long trip, but Hallmark Travel Planners managed everything so perfectly that the whole 7 days passed in the blink of an eye. From Victoria Falls to Masai Mara, Serengeti, then Ngorongoro Crater - every place is a different story! Richard was my guide in Kenya - he's not just a guide; he knows the jungle.
