    I like the nature of this safari. Nothing was forced - everything happened at its own pace. The morning began with the sight of Lake Manyara and the sound of birds, And the moment of entering the Ngorongoro Crater will be remembered for a lifetime. The knowledge of the guide was excellent, he used to predict the movement of the animals beforehand. The roads are dusty in some places, but the view is so beautiful that it did not seem to be a problem. The last day I left Serengeti, I felt like I was leaving something behind... Perhaps that's the beauty of Africa. ...more

    I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.     I went on this trip with my wife and son. It was very well planned for everyone, even if they had small children. In Serengeti, the boy was excited to see the elephant for the first time. In the evening, we shared the experience of the safari at the Shuhudia Adventure Tented Camp. On the last day, when I went down inside the Ngorongoro Crater and saw the black rhino, it seemed that the trip was complete.     We had a lovely 15-days African safari trip through Ol Pejeta (1 Night), Samburu (2 Nights), Lake Nakuru (1 Night), Masai Mara (2 Nights), Serengeti (3 Nights), Ngorongoro (1 Night), Tarangire (1 Night), Lake Manyara (1 Night) and Amboseli National Park (2 Nights). Esther- our tour organizer was very good with communication in response to our queries very promptly. Our safari drivers, Patrick in Kenya and Salu in Tanzania were exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable. Their warm personality and expertise made the journey not only educational but also deeply enjoyable. We opted for the luxury option and the accommodations were very good.     I have traveled a lot in my life, but what I saw at the Mara River Crossing in the Serengeti was truly a unique experience. When thousands of new wildebeest were crossing the river together, there were crocodiles nearby - the cruelty and beauty of nature were seen together. It would not have been possible to see this scene from such a close distance without the experience and accurate timing of our guide.     On this five-day safari, our journey begins from Tarangire National Park, where the sight of a herd of elephants fills our eyes. The guide said, From June to October, thousands of wildebeest and zebra migrate through this area,- and we met the scene. The next destination is Serengeti - the vast wilderness where leopards, lions, and hyenas rule the roost. One afternoon we saw a lion hunting, which was hard to believe with our own eyes. At the end of the trip, I went to Ngorongoro Crater. As soon as I stepped into the crater, I entered a secret world of animals. A black-headed lion walked past our jeep - a sight that still haunts us today ...more
