  In late November 2025, four friends and I from India did the Marangu Route with Aardvark Expeditions, and it was a great experience every step of the way. In the weeks leading up to our climb, we exchanged many emails with the Aardvark Expeditions sales staff. Their quick responses and thorough explanations were what persuaded us to book with them. While climbing, our guide (Gabriel and Fred) were extremely professional. They adapted their pace to ours, provided encouraging words and advice to help us acclimatise, and made sure we were safe at all times. The food that Erik and Abuu prepared was another highlight.   Don't miss a chance to visit the iconic parks of Kenya and Tanzania in one trip. We saw the migration at Masai Mara, the rhinos and flamingos at Lake Nakuru, and the sight of Kilimanjaro standing behind the elephants at Amboseli - in a word - is amazing. The game drive to Serengeti was the highlight of the entire trip. The lodges were luxurious, and the guide was very helpful and knowledgeable throughout the 12 days.
