  Each day of the trip is a different experience. The tranquil environment of Tarangire, the birds and baboons of Manyara, the big cats of Serengeti - all are worth seeing. I was thrilled to see the gonus running in front of the crocodiles of the Grumeti River. At the end is the Ngorongoro Crater - a huge natural theater.   As soon as I entered Lake Manyara, I saw many birds - some on the lake's edge, some flying in the sky. Then as we went down into the Ngorongoro Crater, the whole place opened in front of our eyes, it seemed like a small world. Elephants, giraffes, zebras - everyone is walking in their own way. At lunchtime, a group of monkeys came and stood next to the car, and I had to laugh at their mischief. The whole trip was very natural and enjoyable. ...more

  I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.   We never imagined that we would have such a diverse experience in just four days. On the first day in Tarangire National Park, the whole family was shocked to see a huge elephant herd. The Baobab tree and the giraffe roaming under it - a postcard scene. The next day at the entrance to Ngorongoro Crater, the guide said, "Keep your eyes open!" - Indeed, in a short time I could see the lion, the buffalo, and even the black rhino resting in one corner. That day was like a dream. The last two days at Serengeti National Park were the highlight of our safari. It was heartwarming to see the vast meadows, the cheetah race, and the lion pride in the distance. Seven Wonders Safaris perfectly arranged the whole trip. ...more

  I was alone, a little worried about such a long trip, but Hallmark Travel Planners managed everything so perfectly that the whole 7 days passed in the blink of an eye. From Victoria Falls to Masai Mara, Serengeti, then Ngorongoro Crater - every place is a different story! Richard was my guide in Kenya - he's not just a guide; he knows the jungle.   I participated in this group-scheduled tour in March, and I must say - it was the best 4 days of my life! The vast sea of grass of Serengeti and elephants, giraffes, and lions roaming in it - everything is like a dream. The view of Ngorongoro Crater is a living painting. Guide Frank was excellent, patiently answering every question and explaining the behavior of the animals. Friendships developed between the passengers, and the journey was orderly.
